ATESEAINSTITUTIONALREPOSITORY
Connecting Scholars, Libraries, and Asian Theological Resources
The Association for Theological Education in Southeast Asia (ATESEA) Institutional Repository is the official digital repository of ATESEA and its members. Its goal is to support ATESEA’s mission of wider cooperation among theological schools in research, consortium programs for advanced studies, and improving the quality of theological education. This innovative program also supports the preservation and access to publications, manuscripts, theses, and other academic works of member institutions’ theologians, faculty members, and students.
Particularly, it aims to:
- Serve as a union digital archive of ATESEA and its members’ theological education, advance studies, and research
- Provide an online facility for its members to promote, exchange, and disseminate their academic and theological works globally
- Share knowledge, support scholarship, and theological thinking with everyone
ATESEA member institutions engaged in training for Christian ministry in Southeast Asia, and Institutions involved in theological education in Southeast Asia (Seminaries, Theological Schools, etc.) are invited to contribute academic articles, theses, and dissertations to the ATESEA IR for global accessibility and visibility. For members with existing IRs, metadata will be harvested from their repository into the ATESEA IR and linked to the original source. For those who do not have the capacity to establish their own IR, they can directly deposit the metadata and items to the ATESEA IR. ATESEA is committed to disseminating theological works while respecting the intellectual property rights of faculty and institutions.
